The Steelers added another depth piece on Wednesday, bringing back outside linebacker Cassius Marsh on a one-year deal.
Acquired off the practice squad of the Colts last season after Bud Dupree was lost for the season with a knee injury, Marsh played in one game for the Steelers, making two tackles.
The eight-year NFL veteran took advantage of the ability in 2020 for teams to stash players on their practice squad with NFL experience because of the COVID-19 situation.
A former fourth-round pick of the Seahawks, Marsh has appeared in 92 career games, making nine starts. He has 14 career sacks and will provide the Steelers with veteran depth behind T.J. Watt and Alex Highsmith. Marsh also has spent time with the 49ers, Patriots, Cardinals and Jaguars.
The Steelers also officially announced the signings of veteran linebacker Miles Killebrew and offensive lineman Joe Haeg. Killebrew signed a one-year deal, while Haeg was given a two-year, $4.6 million contract.
