WASHINGTON -- The NHL's trade deadline is Monday Feb. 24, at 3 p.m.
We'll keep you posted below on all the happenings around the league.
I created this primer last season explaining the rules and intricacies surrounding trades in the NHL, and what else happens in the league leading up to and following the deadline.
I also have this article explaining how much salary the Penguins will be able to take on in any potential moves, and how that number is calculated. Since I wrote that the figure has slightly changed, with the Penguins projected as being able to add $3,413,803 in cap hits at the deadline.
