Well, small-group skating sessions at the Penguins' practice facility in Cranberry will be starting Tuesday, and it's entirely possible that we're only about a month from the opening of the franchise's first July training camp. (Assuming the coronavirus pandemic signs a permission slip for those things, of course.)
So, what do you think? Are you getting more or less enthused about late-summer hockey? How to you feel about the decision to reseed teams after each round of the playoffs, and to have everything after the best-of-five qualifying round be best-of-seven? Who do you think the extended break in the season will favor or, more likely, hurt the least? Do you think Carey Price is capable of almost singlehandedly knocking the Penguins out of postseason contention?
This is the place to discuss those things, and everything else to do with hockey. Past, present or future.
