Olund had to be helped off the ice to the Brynas locker room after the hit. Jordan Boucher did not receive a penalty on the play.
Brynas is expected to provide an update on Olund's status after the game.
Olund, 22, was drafted out of Brynas by the Penguins in the fifth-round in the 2017 draft. He made the move to North America last season and recorded six goals and nine assists in 61 games with Wilkes-Barre. He primarily played a fourth-line role and was a healthy scratch at times.
Olund requested to play in Sweden this season, where he would feel more comfortable and receive more ice time. He is still under contract with the Penguins and is on loan to Brynas.
