Raiders' GM Mayock to AB: 'All in or all out' taken in Williamsport, Pa. (Steelers)

Antonio Brown. – MATT SUNDAY / DKPS

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. -- It sure sounds like Raiders GM Mike Mayock has had enough Antonio Brown drama.

Per the Las Vegas Review-Journal's Myles Simmons, Mayock offered Brown an ultimatum today.

Shortly after Simmons' tweet, a video surfaced with more from Mayock.

"Here's the bottom line," Mayock began. "He's upset about the helmet issue. We have supported that. We appreciate that ... At this point, we've pretty much exhausted all avenues of relief. So from our perspective, it's time for him to be all in or all out. OK? So we're hoping he's back soon.

"We got 89 guys busting their tails. We are really excited about where this franchise is going, and we hope AB is going to be a big part of it, starting Week 1 against Denver. End of story. No questions. OK?"

Let's break it down:

• The Steelers traded Brown to the Raiders on March 10, netting a third- and a fifth-round pick in the process.

• April 6: Brown takes a petty dig at JuJu Smith-Schuster, who replaced Brown as the team's leader in receptions and yards in 2018 and won the team MVP award.

• May 20: Brown called Ben Roethlisberger two-face."

• May 31: Brown said he only cares about catching and surpassing Jerry Rice as the greatest receiver of all time.

• July 26: Brown shows up to Raiders training camp in a hot-air balloon.

• Early August: Brown gets frostbite on his feet from a cryotherapy machine and can't begin training camp with the Raiders.

• Aug. 9: Brown's preferred helmet does not meet current NFL safety standards and regulations, and he throws a fit about it.

• Brown's new helmet failed its safety test and was not authorized for use.

• Aug. 18: Mayock tells Brown to cut it out.

Did I miss anything? Probably. But does it matter? I mean, look at that list.

I'll admit: I was among those who thought the Brown drama with the Steelers was overblown. I thought he'd head to Oakland and continue to succeed as one of the game's best receivers, putting all the drama and chaos behind him.

Yeah. I was wrong. Stay tuned for Brown's undoubtedly reasonable reaction to Mayock's words, but in the meantime ask yourself this: Still think the Steelers "lost" this trade?
