The Stanley Cup playoffs are almost upon us!
We at DKPittsburghSports.com want to get in on the action, so we’re hosting a bracket challenge for our subscribers.
Playing along is simple: Head to our bracket group over at NHL.com, sign in or create an account, enter the password — Lunatic — to gain access, complete your bracket and then follow along with your fellow Lunatics as the Penguins begin their quest for a sixth Stanley Cup:
Entries will be accepted until 6:59 p.m. ET on April 10, before the puck drops for the first game of the Stanley Cup playoffs.
The scoring is based on the following:
Basic Scoring
- Earn 10 points by picking the correct winner of each series in the first round.
- Earn 25 points by picking the correct winner of each series in the second round.
- Earn 50 points by picking the correct winner of each series in the third round - Conference Finals.
- Earn 100 points by picking the correct winner of the fourth round - Stanley Cup Final.
Bonus Points
- For each first round matchup, earn three bonus points by correctly picking the first round winner in that matchup and correctly predicting how many games will be played in that series.
Tiebreaker
- Predict the total number of goals that will be scored during the Stanley Cup Final.
The winner of the challenge will receive a three-year Lunatic subscription added to their account. If you are already subscribed at the Lunatic level, the time can be added on to the end of your subscription, or you can gift the subscription to someone else. The runner-up will receive a one-year subscription, with the same conditions applying.
