Tom Barrasso notoriously did not have the greatest relationship with local media during his time as a player, to say the least.
Barrasso, now head coach of the Sheffield Steelers of the United Kingdom-based Elite Ice Hockey League, is showing that old habits die hard in his first year with the team.
The EIHL requires head coaches to participate in a postgame interview for the league's website following each game. Barrasso has reportedly failed to fulfill his media requirements after losses twice in the past two weeks, leading one team's play-by-play man to instead hilariously ask his questions to the void in this video:

Barrasso hasn't totally shunned the British media this season. When he does speak, he's been a good quote, albeit blunt.
“After the Glasgow game –where we were basically horrible – the message coming back out of that was that we really needed to find our way,” Barrasso told the Yorkshire Post in December. "Our performance was uneven (against Manchester). Offensively we did a lot of the things that we talk about and work on in practice, but defensively we were pretty porous."
According to some fan chatter on Twitter, EIHL coaches traditionally shake hands with each other after every game. Barrasso has developed a reputation for skipping out on the postgame handshake, whether his team wins or loses.
The Steelers have a record of 14-11-1 since Barrasso took over behind the bench in October, and have an overall record of 17-17-1. They rank last in the league's Erhardt Conference.
