Steelers place two in top five of NFL's Top 100 taken at Rooney Complex (Steelers)

Neither finished No. 1, but Antonio Brown and Le'Veon Bell were both rated highly by their peers in the NFL.com Top 100 players list.

Brown ranked second and Bell fifth in the final list, which was released Monday night. And both were the highest-ranked players at their respective positions.

Both Steelers stars moved up in the rankings this year. Brown was fourth on the list in 2017, while Bell was rated ninth.

The Steelers and Rams were the only teams with two players rated among the top 10 players in the NFL. Los Angeles placed running back Todd Gurley sixth -- one spot behind Bell -- while former Pitt defensive tackle Aaron Donald was seventh and was the highest-rated defensive player in the top 100.

The Steelers placed six players on the list overall, all of whom were ranked among the top 48 players.

Cam Heyward made his first appearance on the list at No. 48 after an All-Pro season in 2017, while Ryan Shazier came in just ahead of him at No. 47. David DeCastro was ranked 44th, while Ben Roethlisberger was 18th.

Only the Vikings and Rams, with seven players each, had more players in the top 100 than Pittsburgh. Jacksonville, Green Bay and New Orleans also had six players.

Despite the presence of Tom Brady at No. 1 for the second consecutive season, New England had just two players on the list. Tight end Rob Gronkowski was 15th.
