Duquesne made just 6 of 27 shots (22.2 percent) and scored just 16 points in the first half against Davidson Tuesday, the lowest total under Jim Ferry since the Dukes scored 15 in one half against Dayton in 2014. The low-scoring output came after Duquesne started the game just 1 for 5 and went down by double digits early in the game and led to a 74-60 defeat at the hands of the Wildcats inside Belk Arena in Davidson, N.C.

The big hole for the Dukes began early. In the first 12:28 of the game, Duquesne scored just five points, making just 2 of 15 shots over that opening span.
