DETROIT — It was a salty group of Penguins leaving Joe Louis Arena for the final time Saturday night.

Kris Letang was lost to a lower-body injury, the team as a whole blew two leads in a 6-3 loss to the Red Wings and, adding to the aggravation, a critical goaltending interference call went against them in the third period. Mike Sullivan's team hasn't been seeing eye-to-eye with officials of late, and the decision to take away a tying goal left them fuming.
