After nine games as Pitt's head coach, it's becoming clear that his team's identity is one that will have to change drastically for the Panthers to contend in the ACC.

Though Pitt held off Buffalo 84-79 Wednesday night at the Petersen Events Center, its 26-point lead shrank to one with less than seven minutes remaining, and Stallings said it's his veterans' tendency to "hit that cruise control button" too often that is partly to blame for the inconsistent play.
