NEW YORK -- It was a comeback that would have rivaled, or even surpassed, that thrilling finish against the Devils.

What nearly turned into the feel-good win of the season instead turned into perhaps its most frustrating setback.

The Penguins roared back from three goals down to the the Islanders at Barclays Center on Wednesday night, but Anders Lee's game-winner with 26.6 seconds remaining sent the Penguins home in a grumpy mood, 5-3 losers against their division rival.

"We were so close to getting at least one point, maybe more," Matt Cullen said. "To lose in the final seconds like that, yeah, this one stings."
