Just when it looked like Robert Morris' men's basketball team was in good shape, a scoring drought of 5:54 late in the first half doomed the Colonials in what wound up an 81-69 loss to Richmond in the team's first game of the Barclays Classic.

Up 18-10 at the time, Robert Morris' drought then fueled the Spiders to go on a 19-2 run to take a 29-20 lead late in the first half. The Colonials never recovered from that run despite using their own 6-0 run in the second half to pull within 10 with 2:49 left in the game.

Sophomore Isaiah Still led all scorers with 20 points on 6 of 12 shooting. He was joined in double figures by freshman center Braden Burke, who had 10 points to go with seven rebounds. The Spiders had four players in double digits.
