First game back from concussion and long layoff? It’s nothing for Crosby

Sidney Crosby scored a goal on Tuesday night at PPG Paints Arena, which isn't exactly newsworthy. He's scored 339 at the NHL level, after all.

Still, his fellow Penguins marveled at his ability to miss the season's first six games and score the game-altering goal, the pace of the game not the least bit foreign to him even though he had missed more than two weeks with a concussion and hadn't played in an NHL game since June 12.

The great ones do that sort of thing.

Crosby pumped life into a crowd that booed the Penguins earlier in the second period, paving the way for a 3-2 comeback victory against the Panthers.
