There are no moral victories in sports, and especially not in football. You either win or you lose and, as Ramon Foster often speaks when he wants something known matter-of-factly: "Point. Blank. Period."

Nobody inside the Steelers' locker room following Sunday's 27-16 loss to the Patriots at Heinz Field even came close to traveling down that moral victory road.

But, you know, if there were ever a time to hang your hat on a 'participation trophy' loss, it would be this one.
