Another game without Sidney Crosby against a Stanley Cup contender is in the books.

These Penguins won't properly be judged until April, May or June, but their first two games of the regular season have been remindful of last year's Cup run in so many ways.

The Penguins beat the Ducks on Saturday at PPG Paints Arena, 3-2, without their captain. Their performance was a familiar one.
