"Every now and then, you are going to have weeks like this." -- Mike Tomlin

Now, was Tomlin talking about last week or this week?

It actually can be applied to the Steelers' debacle last week in Philadelphia, but Tomlin was referring to what happened between the rain drops Sunday night at Heinz Field.

Playing without five starters and only days removed from their worst beating during the Tomlin Era, the Steelers showed a nationally televised audience that they are who we all thought they were -- a Super Bowl contender. Ben Roethlisberger peppered a stout Kansas City secondary, fresh off a six-interception game, with five touchdown passes -- three of at least 30 yards -- and Le'Veon Bell returned from suspension with 178 total yards in a 43-14 rout of the Chiefs to tie the Ravens atop the AFC North Division.
