COLUMBUS, Ohio — If Tristan Jarry is enjoying his success this preseason he’s not going to show it. The young goalie knows better than to enjoy this moment too much.

Mike Sullivan spoke to him earlier in training camp of the importance of being consistent if he wants to stick in the NHL. No game is important than another. The message stuck.

The 21-year-old made 24 saves to record his second consecutive shutout — the Penguins’ third in a row this preseason — and helped Pittsburgh through a five-on-three penalty kill for two minutes of the second period in a 2-0 win over Columbus at Nationwide Arena on Sunday.
