MILWAUKEE -- Look familiar?

Thursday night's 3-2 win over the Brewers at Miller Park -- yes, it's possible -- followed the blueprint the Pirates have used so many times over the past few years: Pitch well and watch Andrew McCutchen carry a big stick.

The last of those hits scored John Jaso with two outs in the 10th inning, giving McCutchen all three RBIs in the Pirates' first win here since April of last year, ending a run of nine straight losses.

More importantly for the refreshment of McCutchen's swing, two of those run-scoring hits were punched through the right side, a part of his game that virtually disappeared over the first four months of the season.
