Getting the first goal in a home match has not been the issue for the Riverhounds, but adding to that lead and playing consistent for two halves has been since Dave Brandt took over as head coach in May.

It has taken just over three months and a number of transactions, but the club finally secured the type of win it had been missing, defeating Wilmington 4-1 Wednesday night at Highmark Stadium behind four goals from three players.
