Jameson Taillon pitched yet another gem at PNC Park on Monday.

His teammates also maintained their recent trend.

Taillon allowed only two runs in eight innings, but the Pirates' bats remained silent in a 3-1 setback against the Astros.

After an uplifting western road trip, the Pirates have dropped four consecutive games at PNC Park.

Josh Bell, David FreeseGregory Polanco (two) and Francisco Cervelli were the only Pirates to notch a hit.

Freese was thrown out at second trying to advance in a horrible way to end the game. Bell would have had a chance to tie the game.

More to come.
