The Riverhounds had plenty of chances. No one in their locker room is going to dispute that.

They were the kind of chances that lead to sleepless nights, but another disappointing showing on offense in the 0-0 draw against Harrisburg in front of a sold-out crowd Monday night at Highmark Stadium was overshadowed by the brilliant play of the defense.

There was the tremendous performance by goalkeeper Mauricio Vargas, the suffocating play of defender Sergio Campbell and the intensity of Danny Earls in the center midfield. But, they also failed to score with a man advantage for almost 10 minutes and squandered quality chances.
