Practice report: Fleury, Hagelin out with illnesses taken at PPG Paints Arena (Penguins)

Evgeni Malkin tees up during a power-play drill Friday. — MATT SUNDAY / DKPS

The Penguins' bye week won't formally go bye-bye until 5:08 p.m. Sunday, when they face off against the Lightning. But the part where they can relax for a few days is about to enter the past tense in a big way, as Mike Sullivan and his team will take the ice at 3 p.m. today at PPG Paints Arena for their first practice.

Matt Sunday and I are here to cover it, and we'll also combine on a column from this event to be published later tonight.

Hey, who said it's all football around here anymore?
