Carter's Classroom: Pouncing on sloppy Dolphins taken at Highmark Stadium (Steelers)

Ryan Tannehill (17) looks to lead the Dolphins against the Steelers. - GETTY

The Steelers' defense will have opportunities Sunday to put on a dominating performance against a Dolphins offense that has averaged 17.6 points a game this season.

The Steelers did not cause a fumble or an interception last week against the Jets, but it did force a turnover on downs and only allowed two third-down conversions on 11 attempts without ever allowing the Jets into a goal-to-go situation.

The Dolphins are 1-4, have a third-down conversion rate lower than 30 percent and have a turnover margin of minus-7. This film breakdown will go into why Steelers fans should expect the defense to get after the Dolphins even without their leader, Cameron Heyward.
